My dad did take me, my grandad and and uncle for a drive in the peak of this invasion and what we saw was nothing but amazing and very eye opening for this 10 year old. The local McDonalds had paper sacks in the parking lot knee high to an adult man. The streets, store parking and yards were packed full of people just meandering around. I remember that most all of the men had scruffy beards and ladies......well the ladies had more skin than this 10 year old had ever seen in his life!
