The good news in Webster Groves this year is that sales have increased by almost 80% since January of this year. The number of listings currently on the market is also up by almost 45% which translates to good inventory for buyers. On the Trulia website for the week ending Sept. 28, Webster Groves ranked #6 in popularity of visitors and the average list price was $237,897.

We currently have two very nice homes listed in Webster Groves. Our recent listing at 311 Stark Court is a sophisticated Mission style home with great indoor and outdoor space. It has a fabulous kitchen with a skylight, lots of cabinets and a breakfast bar.

418 Florence Avenue will be held open on Sunday, October 16 from 1 to 3 p.m. It has been reduced in price recently and has also had some recent subtle and not so subtle changes that have enhanced the home. One of them is the granite countertop in the kitchen which was one of the not so subtle changes.

Webster Groves' Pudd'nhead Making a Human Chain to Move Books To New Store in Webster Grove, MO

The bookstore Pudd'nhead Books will use a human chain of volunteers Saturday, August 27 to pass books from its current location at 37 Old Orchard Avel, Webster Groves, MO 63119 to its new store across the street at 8157 Big Bend, Webster Groves, MO 63119

Pudd'head Books is moving to its larger location at 8157 Big Bend Ave., August 27 at 10 a.m. They are inviting volunteers to join the human chain which will stretch from the store's current location to the new one between Racanellis and Krueger Pottery in Old Orchard.

With the additional space, the store will accommodate more events. They already have 10 author events scheduled for September. Lincold Peirce, "Big Nate On a Roll" will be featured on September 1.

Pudd'nhead Books will be closed through Suday, August 28 but will open in the new location on Monday if the computers are cooperating.

To volunteer for the event, just show up at Pudd'nhead Books, Saturday morning, August 27, Now how fun is this!

Partcipants are not required to run, though prizes are awarded for times. Its time to bring out your friends, family and running shoes. This event benefits the Alber Family and The ALS Association. There will be food, games and lots of fun.
