FBI REJECTS SHELL KNOB AGENT

Joan Snodgrass Tri-Lakes Realtors, Shell Knob, MO: Real Estate Agent in Shell Knob, MO

"The FBI has rejected your finger prints" the caller told me!

WHAT???

SHELL KNOB

Not exactly what I expected to hear first thing Monday morning.

"What do you mean - rejected?" I asked. " Why were my prints rejected?" There wasn't much explanation given. Many agents in our Board were finger printed after a recent meeting. This is new in Missouri, agents are now required to have fingerprints registerd and on file with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, prior to our license renewal.

I cannot recall a single time that a real estate agent robbed a bank or attacked a client. This goes against my concerns for privacy, but I still like being a real estate person so I went and had them redone last week.

Guess I won’t rob a bank or a client this week.

Branson Tornado Update

03-02-12
Carrie Higgs
Carrie Higgs: Real Estate Agent in Branson, MO

Hi Everyone,

I've received several e-mails over the past couple days, and wanted to say thanks for your concern and well wishes!
It was quite a shock to hear that a F-2 tornado had hit the Ozarks and Hwy 76 in Branson at 2 in the morning when no one expected it. Since we never have had an actual tornado in the area since the 1960's it was very hard for us to believe our eyes the next day. The tornado had skipped about and took out a couple of our older hotels west of the Titanic, a couple T-shirt stores in that area were destroyed, several other buildings were damaged.
Just two days later it's encouraging to see just how quickly people in the community have to come together to clean up the debris. As I was driving down the 76 strip today you could hear construction workers swinging their hammers, "we're open!" signs along the road, streets were getting cleared and Branson Landing was already cleaned up and open for business. I think Branson will come back better than ever in no time. I've been taking lots of pictures and will try to get my facebook and you-tube updated so you can see the progress. Just wanted to let you know everything is ok, and I hope to see you in Branson again!!

Should I Apply For a VA Loan?

Should I apply for a VA loan?

If you're a Veteran, Active Duty Personnel, Reservists/National Guard member, or possibly a surviving spouse you should consider the VA loan.

How it works. Offers 100% financing. A VA funding fee of 0 to 3.3% (this may be financed) of the loan amount is paid to the VA. When purchasing a home, veterans may borrow up to 100% of the sales price or reasonable value of the home, whichever is less. When refinancing a home, veterans may borrow up to 90% of reasonable value in order to refinance where state law allows.

You will need a certificate of eligibility (COE) before you can get a VA backed loan.

It is generally easier to qualify for a VA loan than conventional loans.

How to get a COE for your lender.

  • The COE can be accessed at vip.vba.va.gov at under the WebLGY online database.
  • Potential borrower inputs data
  • Your COE will be determined in seconds
