Last year we organized the first Tour Mineral County Home & Business Tour. We had a great response and preparations are well underway for the 2009 Tour.
Tour Mineral County was created to highlight Mineral County's local builders, sub-contractors, and developers. We also include local businesses. It's a great family event and gives attendees the opportunity to see New Homes, Building Trends, and socialize with others on the tour.
On the tour are Mineral County homes that have been constructed or remodeled within the last year, along with some local businesses. Last year, we had 20 stops on the tour and anticipate something similar this year.
We will have a free drawings to win several great prizes and there is free food, drinks, and give-aways at the homes and businesses on the tour.
2009 Tour Mineral County Schedule
May 15, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.
May 16,2009 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
If you have a new home in Mineral County, or if you would like to sponsor the event or donate prizes, please contact Kevin and Monica Ray at 406-207-1185. You can also visit our website for the event at www.TourMineralCounty.com.

We Were Pink Flamingoed!
(Is Flamingoed even a word?)
We were Pink Flamingoed to the Access Realty office today, thanks to our friends at First American Title.
The Pink Flamino award is delivered to local businesses as part of a fundraiser for the local 4-H Club. We also received a hot pink certificate notifying us of our status.
This beautiful prize was delivered by a lady in a hat covered in pink flamingoes (who would not let me take her picture).
Upon receipt, you have the choice of displaying the Pink Flamingoes for the day, or gifting them to another business.
We snapped some pictures and then gifted them to Iron Mountain Beauty Salon.
We were caught completely by surprise and I have to give the 4H Club credit for creativity. I hope they raise a lot of money for their club.

Stop For Lunch in Superior Montana at The Soda Fountain - Best Sandwiches in Western Montana
The next time you're in Superior, or passing through on I-90, take a break for lunch at The Old Fashioned Soda Fountain in "downtown" Superior. Located on Mullan Road, you will find some of the best sandwiches in Western Montana.
Made to order, the Hot Panini sandwiches are amazing! They also give you the option of fresh homemade soup or Chips with Casa Pablos Salsa (If you're from Missoula, you remember this yummy Mexican restaurant.)
If you are in town often enough, you can become a member of Teri's Lunch Bunch and earn a free sandwich.
And, since the place is also a Soda Fountain - you can also ordered an old fashioned malt or milk shake or ice cream cone with your lunch.
The restaurant stops making sandwiches at 2:00 p.m. and they also offer breakfast waffles with sausage or bacon, and you can also call ahead for "to go" orders.
And, if you're in the area, stop by and say "Hi", our Superior office is right around the corner at 102 River Street.
Shown in the picture is Kevin's version of a Reuben, vegetables stacked so high it will hardly fit in your mouth with Pastrami, Cheese and Saurkraut on marbled rye - cooked Panini style.
Address:
105 Mullan Road West
Superior, MT 59872
