Fireworks

And, of course, Santa and Mrs. Clause will be strolling the street for photo opportunities with the young ones! Come out and see the folks you haven’t seen all year, then end the evening at the Sacajawea for a warming cup of steaming apple cider, freshed baked cookies, a live nativity set, and great music. Three Forks is has a second quarter anomaly with one unique sale that skews the graph. In looking at just the 1^st and 3^rd quarters you can get a fairly decent idea of the market. There is considerably more negotiating power in Three Forks, it is a smaller community and jobs are limited unless you choose to drive for employment.

This graph is an indication of our inventory, how well it is moving, and how long it might take to get your home sold. We refer to this as the Absorption Rate. Homes in Three Forks do generally have a longer market time due to the limited number of buyers looking at the area. Plan accordingly and check your price carefully if you want your home to move more quickly.

Average Asking Price to Actual Sold Price

Three Forks, Montana??

We are a small town. I moved here from the hustle and bustle of Bozeman (yes, I do think 100,000 folks is a big city) to find a little more relaxed environment, but I did not move here to let the weeds grow between my toes! I do still enjoy activities, even if I don’t want to drive the 35 miles to Bozeman to find it. So what is there to do here? Check it out:

Montana Annual Horse Round Up. They still transport their entire herd of horses the old fashioned way! Driving them from winter pastures to summer pastures through the middle of town! It is always a site to behold, and 2012 may be the last year to participate, come join us May 3-6!

Three Forks High School Rodeo, usually held near the end of April. Always fun to cheer on the younger cowboys and cowgirls and get involved with the local talent!

Headwaters Country Jam. This year, the 28^th, 29^th, and 30^th, of June. This is a weekend of country headliners! You can expect names like Luke Bryan, Montana Rose, Blackhawk, and Charlie Daniels to show up in our sleepy little town.

Three Forks Rodeo. This is NRA action. The third weekend in July the entire town puts on a show. Street dances with live bands, parade, and lots of bucking, riding action for entertainment.

Rockin the Rivers. Near the 2^nd week of August, this is another weekend of rocking entertainment, just a different variety of music. Pat Benatar, Creedance Clearwater, and Led Zepplin have all graced our small town with their presence. You can see the campgrounds from miles away!

Three Forks Christmas Stroll. We enjoy smores and lights with our friends and families on Main Street.

If the social activities don't get you, we are Three Forks, where 3 rivers merge to create the great Missouri River, so no shortage of fishing, hiking, or floating. Lewis and Clark Caverns are here for exploring! And miles of hiking, camp sites, and wide open spaces.

Sacajawea Inn

It was a bit of a surprise to most of us, that when the Sacajawea Inn became available, they dove “in”. It has been a historic part of Three Forks, Montana nearly a century now, but had been neglected for many of the past years. After the purchase, Folkvords’ spent the next year renovating every portion of the great hotel. They have painstakingly restored the setting as closely to the original splendor as possible and have created a wonderfully unique blend of modern amenities where you still feel as though you have stepped back a bit in time.

Come enjoy the warm front deck for an afternoon of music, or a bicycle ride on the paved trail, maybe a round of golf is more your style, or an evening of dining and dancing. Whatever your pleasure, the Sacajawea Inn will not disappoint, nor will Three Forks, Montana!
