Miramichi, NB

Wow its been a hectic time since last I blogged.. my house is still on the market, been shown a few times, not sold yet. My office building is for sale, some interest there. I have been sick for the last few weeks, a travelling pain haha.. no really laryngitis - WHICH I HATED.. never realized how much I talked until I couldn't and the usual tired, achy, etc.

But now I am back and feeling AWESOME ready to take on the world, well at least my little part of it. I actually missed being on here. I will have to take some time, maybe tonight (when I am not working) to catch up on all of those bloggers I read.

Okay so the house was shown twice, no negative feedback. Actually received some compliments. All that prep work must of helped. I am ever hopeful that the place will sell.

It snowed today... yes you are reading that right. Kind of a downer... but I am convinced its the last snow of the Winter.. umm Spring.

I want to be out of here by June, so someone better get selling.. ha ha.

Okay so now I get my first taste of what it is like to be a Vendor, not a Realtor. This should be interesting, I am super pumped, but have no great expectations. One of the girls from my office is showing my house on Thursday. They already have one they like, mine is just an add-on just in case kind of thing. I have had a couple email inquiries and a few calls.. Yippee!!

As long as the feedback isn't too negative, I will be okay. I will be okay. I will be okay..haha.

With my other hat on, I have noticed the market picking up in the last few days, must be the melting of the snow at long last. I think I am due a sale and am hoping for a busy weekend.

The showings came and went, no offers from the other Realtors. Oh well, at least not yet. My own showings went pretty well, but these Buyers are just starting out. I can't wait until they are ready to put their place on the market should sell in days.

On that note my place is almost ready, today I should have cleaned. but the surprise snowstorm kind of made me take a snowday.. I was lazy and just sat around all day. Having said that it made me remember sometimes you need a break.

I also got an email from my daughter who just moved out Saturday.. she asked when she could come home for a visit. Actually made me happy. Till next time.

Today I have 4 showings, 1 listing and 3 of my listings are being shown 3 times each. Oh yeah!! Spring has sprung. If things go well .. .I can only imagine. Best not to get my hopes up.

As well my daughter is moving away today, so in between all of this I have to say my good byes, eyes water up again. This is perhaps one of the toughest things I have experienced in a while. But I guess its just another part of life.

My house is I would say 90% ready to hit the market Monday, so its gonna be an interesting weekend. I am preparing myself for the Emotional Rollercoaster on many fronts. Hope I survive.
