The Villages of Apex- new home community in Apex North Carolina.

After a slowdown caused by the global recession, the Villages of Apex new home community is up and running again! With new builders and many new home plans starting in the low $200,000's, this development will be a welcome addition to the town of Apex.

Apex First Development, a division of the Halle companies, has teamed with Mike Howington to create a community they call "Historic, Contemporary, Extraordinary".

The Villages of Apex is a mixed-use community comprising 202 acres that will include residential and retail shop as well as office space. A private elementary school, Thales Academy is currently being completed.

The 4700 sf Recreation Center is under construction and will be opening soon. This will include a resident's clubhouse, lap pool, fitness center, and aerobics room.

The community also features a stocked pond, dog parks, walking trails, and miles of sidewalks.

The Villages of Apex community will be divided into 3 different sections:

• Old Mill Village- Luxury townhouses, condominiums built over the retails space, and patio homes.
• The North Village- single-family homes and townhomes
• The South Village- mixed use section which will include office space, retail shopping, restaurants, townhomes and luxury condo's.

I recently visited the beautiful models in the Charleston section of the Villages of Apex. With 3 models ranging in size from 1695 sf to 2638sf, there looks like a floor plan that would fit the needs of many people. My buyer was very impressed with the amenites including hardwood flooring and crown molding.
