In my earlier post about Biltmore Park, I mentioned that now matter if you are a Baby Boomer, or just starting out, you will appreciate this community of fine homes.This is one "high-end" neighborhood where, right from your porch or deck you may view the mountains or overlook a wooded area and trail-way. Community amenities include Biltmore Park Town Square and a shining, family-friendly YMCA.

I read recently that a team of UNC, Chapel Hill students won a $50,000 prize in an urban design competition. As a luxury home specialist, it was interesting to see that the winner focused on a design that would accommodate the diverse needs of families of all sizes and ages.
Here in Asheville, a number of “high-end neighborhoods” incorporate many critical family-friendly elements, such as community space, connectivity, public arts, and job incubation …all of which were included in the winning proposal. Here are a few
