D.R. Horton, a national builder with a strong presence in the Triangle is building up to 30 new townhomes in West Cary NC, the Cary Park neighborhood. The model home will be complete at the end of October, but will be available for viewing during the upcoming Parade of Homes. Buyers will be able to choose their finishes and customize to their own tastes. The first 5 Cary home buyers receive special incentives either with the price or the upgrade package.

The average price per square has recovered somewhat over the last year, which is certainly a good sign. The volume of sales has recovered a bit over the last year as well, although it's certainly not the brisk pace we had a few years ago. The average sale price of single family homes seems to have bounced around some, but this is actually due to the timing of when expensive homes sell compared to when some of the more affordable homes have sold.
