Cary NC Upchurch Farms homes for sale has an interesting history. When my family moved to Cary NC in 1995 the location where Upchurch Farms homes for sale is location was a tobacco field.
It was a fascinating event each year watching the tobacco being planted and then harvested in stages. You see tobacco seedlings are hand planted. The field-hands are perched on the side of a tractor and plop the plants in the tilled soil. The tobacco is then harvested in three stages as the leaves reach maturity. As a big city girl from Cleveland, Ohio I truly enjoyed the annual tobacco ritual taking place in my backyard.
As the years past the family who
owned the land sold it to
developers and moved the family farmhouse.
It is now located about a half mile down Upchurch
Farm Road.
Cary NC Upchurch Farms homes for sale were built on that same 61 acres where the tobacco grew between 2001 -2008. Upchurch Farms is comprised of 160 residential units, single family homes and two-story town homes. The average price point for the single family homes is in the high $300,000 to the mid $400,000.

Upchurch Farms is a relatively new neighborhood of approximately 250 homes off Jenks Carpenter Road in Cary, NC. Upchurch Farms also borders the rear of the Davis Drive School campuses.

Raleigh, NC and North Carolina State University are a 30 minute commute. The Research Triangle Park, "RTP," is about 20 minutes. Heavy drive-time traffic may affect commute time.
The neighborhood was developed starting in 2001 by New Fortis Corporation and Westminister Homes, now KHovnanian. Approximately half the homes are detached traditional and transitional single family homes, with the balance being townhomes.

Upchurch Farms townhomes range from 1500 square feet to over 2000 square feet. You can expect 3 or 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 2 stall garages, central AC, gas heat and gas log fireplaces, and low maintenance exteriors.

Upchurch Farms has a Homeowners Association. HOA dues include the beautiful community swimming pool, common area maintenance. Dues are $35.00/month for single family homes and $102/month for townhomes with exterior maintenance.
