The 4 successfully closed home sales in Charlotte NC's Canterbury neighborhood for 2010 was slightly above the past two years - this is a relatively small neighborhood so annual home sales aren't as high as in some other larger neighborhoods.

The busiest recent year for neighborhood homes sold was 2007 with six closed sales - not all that much higher than 2010s activity.

The average sales price for Canterbury homes  in 2010 was $375,750 - just below last year's average.

Home sales prices for the neighborhood have dropped off from 2008s average around $400k but as of 2010 were still above every year from 2002 to 2007.

Canterbury is a neighborhood of single family homes located in the heart of south Charlotte NC just down the street from the Colony Place Shopping Center and between South Park and the Arboretum.  Homes were built from the lat 1990s to early 2000s and range from around 2,000 to 3,000 square feet of living space.

With the Colony Place Shopping Center just across the street, South Park an easy drive down Colony Rd and the Arboretum also within minutes this neighborhood offers a central location with tons of convenience and amenities nearby. 

Built from the late 1990's through early 2000's,  Canterbury neighborhood homes feature attached garages, partial to full brick exterior, range in size from around 2,000 to more than 3,000 square feet of living space and the vast majority have 2 story floor plans.

Current school assignments for homes in the Canterbury neighborhood are Olde Providence Elementary (located just down Rea Rd), Carmel Middle and Myers Park High School - that should of course be verified if schools are of interest/importance to any home buyer considering the neighborhood.
