Chadwyck homes for sale

The 3 successfully closed home sales in Charlotte NC's Chadwyck neighborhood during 2010 was LOWER than the activity from last year. 

This is not a large neighborhood so in general the amount of homes sold aren't super high in any year but 2010 was one of the slowest recent years for the neighborhood.

2006 had 11 homes sold but the more common activity per year has been between 4-7 neighborhood homes sales.

Looking more closely at 2010 activity - ALL but 1 of the homes listed for sale did eventually sell in 2010 so the slower pace really was because of fewer options not any amount of  unsuccessful (withdrawn/expired) activity.

The average sales price for Chadwyck neighborhood homes  in 2010 was $487,666 - lower than the year before and nearly equal to the 2005 AND 2008 average price.

2007 had the highest average price and 2002 was the lowest.

The Short-Term view on Chadwyck average home sales prices:
DOWN 13.3% from 2008 to 2010

The Long-Term View on average neighborhood prices:
UP 35.7% from 2002 to 2010 (that % already includes the recent decline)

Centrally located in south Charlotte, easy access to Uptown is just a few miles away at Providence Rd.

Built during the 1990's  Chadwyck neighborhood homes feature attached garages, lots of brick exteriors, range in size from around 3,000 to 4,000 square feet of living space and offer 2 story floor plans.

Current school assignments for homes in the Chadwyck neighborhood are:
Olde Providence Elementary (located just down Rea Rd)
Carmel Middle
Myers Park High School
