Let's go shopping for Stonecroft Charlotte NC homes for sale!

Attention Charlotte NC Stonecroft Neighborhood Residents: A rezoning notice for the property on the East side of Colony Road between Stonecroft and Colony Place Shopping Center has now been posted. Please click here for the rezoning application.

The owner and petitioner have asked the city to rezone the property to a Mixed-Use Development District, Conditional Zoning (MUDD-CD). The site plan allows for a 2 story, 30,000 sq. ft. medical/office building on the east side of Colony Road. This rezoning does not include a driveway parcel that currently serves the home on that property. The existing driveway will be removed to prohibit access to the office space from Stonecroft Park Drive.

The building will be accessed from the Colony Place Shopping Center and a second from Colony Road. Note also that the dumpster will be enclosed and gated, as well as being located on the shopping center side of the building. The continued Colony Place theme has been proposed for the medical/office building’s architecture. There will also be a 35-foot wooded buffer on the Stonecroft side of the property.
