There is no doubt that the two most talked about real estate communities in Lake Norman are The Point in Mooresville and The Peninsula in Cornelius.

Both offer spectacular waterfront estates and the best of Crescent Communities amenities including renowned golf courses, tennis, swimming pools and myriad activities.

The Peninsula was build before The Point, so the neighborhoods are more established for the most part and it is almost completely built out with only a few new homesites still available.

Located in Cornelius, The Peninsula is only about 28 miles from Charlotte yet has the benefits of two great clubs, the beautiful Yacht Club, and The Peninsula Golf Club .

There are currently 76 active listings in The Peninsula ranging in price from $432,000 to $3790,000. 48 of the 76 active listings are $1 million+.

I have found that The Peninsula and The Point are different enough that when my buyers tour both they usually decide to look seriously in only one of them. They each have their own personality and culture which is hard to describe until you see them in person!

Good news, prices are starting to rise. Even better news? Charlotte is the second most likely city in the nation to see home prices rise. To determine where home prices are expected to rise next, Forbes.com looked at projections for housing starts from the NAHB and job-growth figures from Moody's for the 100 largest metro areas in the United States. As expected, the cities where prices are likely to rebound are largely those with vibrant economies

Lake Norman Homes for Sale in Huntersville, Cornelius, and Davidson

Huntersville, Corrnelius and Davidson are the three towns that make up the east coast of lower Lake Norman. Each town has its own appeal. Huntersville is closest to Charlotte, Cornelius has the most waterfront property of the three, and Davidson is a college town with a surprisingly good basketball team (the Wildcats led by Stephen Curry). Many relocating to the Charlotte area choose to live near Lake Norman, not minding the longer commute. Hi Friends and business associates. Lets face it it's getting a lot harder to keep up with the economy. I will give you some helpful tips on how to go around this energy and economical slump. Step one 2 3 4, Snap...out of it. Let's start a movement called Turn off the TV News and throw away the newspaper... You can't be spoon fed this medicine of depressing news day after day. I went to see Tony Robins in Vegas and he had us standing on chairs for two hours yelling YES YES YES. Yes opens doors and no closes them. If your not going to get up in the morning with yes on your lips, you might as well stay under the covers. You cannot go around during the day doing the "Lost In Space Robot" waving your hands all over get plug in to something and watch the wind come right behind you for some real financial success. What are you plug into. I have talked to more Realtors and mortgage people that were caring on and plugged into the frequencyof confusion instead of focusing and staying plug into what they are supposed to be doing they are plug into the bad news tv and paper. Take 5 steps and snap out of it. Michael Saya
