Every year the Outer Banks Parade of Homes just gets better. I don't know how the builders association continues to improve on this event year after year.

Mark your calendars for October 7-10 and plan on having a great time. Be sure to dress casually and in comfortable shoes.

Whalehead Beach Homes with Ocean Views in Corolla NC on the Outer Banks

Beach living at its best is waiting for you in Whalehead. This neighborhood is about 6 miles long running north to south along white sandy beaches of the northern Outer Banks. With only 3 streets running the length of the neighborhood, you will meet families strolling, bike riding, and playing together.

Lighthouse Drive is the eastern most street presenting beautiful beach homes along a dune at ocean's front. The Whalehead homes located on the other side of the street also enjoy the best of the ocean breezes and panoramic ocean views.

Whalehead Drive is the middle street. Here the homes still offer ocean views, the scent of salt air, and easy walks to the beach. Come on. Put your feet up. Sit back. Relax.

The western most street offers beautiful ocean views from many homes. Yes, some of Corolla Drive has higher elevation, but, since all Whalehead lots are 100 x 200, there are good views between most of the houses.

As with many beach properties the proximity to the ocean dictates price. Of course, price also depends on amenities and features of the property.
