WOW! Where did the summer go? According to the Davie County School's calendar its over, because the first day of the 2011-2012 school year is August 25th! The tax free weekend has come and gone, the back to school sales are in full bloom, and fall is on the way.
As a former school teacher I know that the short time between now and the first day of school is precious. Ask most any school aged child and they can tell you the next couple of weeks will fly by! It seems like summer should be a long break, but it always seems to end too quickly!
The Davie County School's calendar does have some relief in sight however! After only seven school days back there is a three day weekend! Of course we cannot neglect the glorious fall break that will begin on October 26th with an early release day into a four day break.
The good news for parents is that the children will be back in school soon! Many kids are excited about going back but are often wanting it to be over after just a few weeks, longing for summer yet again. The Davie County School's calendar has scheduled the breaks just right to rejuvenate teachers and students.
Meanwhile, as long as the snow stays away the Davie County School's calendar has the 2011-2012 school year ending on June 8th! Thanks to all our awesome teachers for all you do to educate the future of our country and the world. If it were up to me you all would get a raise!
Likewise, students thank a teacher once in a while. Even the ones you may not like! They all make an impact in your life that you will never forget.
Have a great school year Davie County!

Is the Real Estate market bad, or is it our attitude that makes it seem unbearable? The Davie County homes for sale are up in number and down in the sold category. However, we can look at the number and listen to the media in order to establish our perspective, OR you can, in the words of Art Williams, "just do it!"
If you need to sell your home, just do it. You say "but houses are not selling!" Well do it anyway!
The point is that you can accept perception as your reality, or you can defy the market and rise to the top.
People are buying and selling real estate everyday. The question becomes are you going to be one of the people doing the buying or the selling?
Too many agents and consumers let the market dictate their attitude toward the housing market. For example Davie County homes for sale are at an all time high. Now you can see that as a horrible indicator, or an incredible opportunity.
There was a story one of my mentors would tell me about his time at war. They were surrounded and all of the soldiers were fearful and certain this was the end. All except one. When asked why he was not fearful about being out numbered he simply replied "I have plenty of ammo, and just look at all that opportunity!"
The real estate market is the same way. You can say "there are too many homes on the market causing it to be unstable" , OR you can say "look at all the good deals for buyers!"
The Davie County homes for sale are at an all time high, but look at all that opportunity for savvy home buyers! That is how to Davie County real estate recovery will get started!
