Graham County

Searching for an outdoor getaway to get away from the crowds? Graham County is an excellent choice. The mountain town of Robbinsville is the center of activity, but the countryside is the main attraction. There are several lakes (including Fontana), the scenic Cherohala Skyway, Fontana Dam, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, wilderness areas, national forests, great hiking, fishing, water sports and a variety of lodges, B&Bs, motels and cabins.

Andrews & Robbinsville, NC

Traveling southwest will bring you to the crossroads community of Andrews, then to the small, unassuming mountain village of Robbinsville, one of the quaintest towns in the Smokies. From here you're just a few miles away from some of the oldest trees in America at Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest. Before you leave the area, be sure to take a scenic drive on the beautiful Cherohala Skyway or splase around in Lake Santeetlah!
