The leaf colors are changing rapidly this week, and the leaves on the trees on this creek in Maggie Valley were spectacular a couple of days ago. The weather has been warm this week, and we have had more rain, so many leaves are falling off the trees (and I'm having to rake my yard again). Perish the thought.

*** Regarding the I-40 rock slide, here are: Alternate Routes to Maggie Valley ***
On the 'want’ list of the majority of home buyers when they come to Haywood County is: home on a creek. NOTE: no water flows into Haywood County. Each and every creek, stream and river in the County actually originates in Haywood County.

Saturday, October 24th, was another perfect day to visit Lake Junaluska for photos after my grocery story run. Beautiful fall colors at the Lake!
