We (hubby, daughter & I) used this rainy day as a great excuse to find shelter in the GORGEOUS new Raleigh Convention Center and spend some time in the Fall Raleigh Home Show. I always leave these shows with tons of wants & new ideas! I am currently trying to convince my husband we should get granite/quartz countertops, we will see how it goes :) I was intrigued by the outdoor grilling areas, although I wondered how well the appliances hold up to the weather?

The hot tubs & saunas were impressivley priced but I just don't know that we really have time to use either. I have made an appointment with a local company to convert our screened porch into a 3 season room. It was very reasonably priced and I think we will get more use out of the room year around.

All in all it was a great day! Another special thanks to EMK Construction, they had a great booth set up at the home show as well. They have done many IMPRESSIVE remodels, additions, and custom built homes. Definitely keep them in mind for future projects!

One of my clients is a fantastic artist and blogger! She has been blogging about her new adventures this year in home buying and featured me in her blog! I thought this was fantastic and had to share!

Tuscany Subdivision in Clayton NC, Homes From The $160's To The $220's
