Just north of the Dolphin Ridge Club parking lot is the private neighborhood golf cart parking. Pack up your golf cart with all the beach gear, drive to the beach access walkway and unload, then park the cart in the lot while you enjoy the sun and surf.
Dolphin Ridge Emerald Isle North Carolina has an active Home Owner's Association in conjunction with its sister neighborhood Royall Oaks. Currently the association monthly dues is $40 and includes coverage Master Insurance Premium, Real Property Taxes on Common Areas, Management Fee and Common Area Maintenance.

Jon Kolkin's Opening Reception for his photographic series, Tide Pool, to be held at the Dolphin Ridge Club Saturday, July 11th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The series will remain on display for ten days following the reception.

Jon the artist, resides in Raleigh, NC and has a home in Royall Oaks subdivision, Emerald Isle, NC 28594.
He has studied with some of the world’s best-known photographers including Elizabeth Opalenik, Bob Krist and Italy’s Massimo Bassano.
Jon’s captivating images have won numerous first place awards in regional and national juried photography competitions. His artwork has also been features in solo and group exhibitions around the country and in prominent photography fine art magazines such as B & W and Camera Arts. He is a frequent lecturer on the topic of using photography as a tool for achieving personal growth.
Jon's passionate avocation is photography however his "real job" is that of hand surgeon in the Raleigh area.

It is a gated subdivision with seven streets:

Calypso Court
Posseiden Road
Green Glenn Road
Spinnaker Place

Many of the ocean front homes are on the seasonal rental market, but not all. A few of the ocean front homes are primary residences. Seasonal rentals are permitted in this subdivision, however most homes are primary residences.
Most of the second row homes and interior homes are primary residences. There is a mix of retirees, professionals, and young couples with children.
This gated community that houses the Dolphin Ridge Club, a private beach, pool and tennis club open to membership. Residents are welcome to join but not required to purchase a membership.
