About Hendersonville's Gann Village

I've just received my new signs from Oakley Signs & Graphics and I'm so pleased to share with you the great job and service they provided. To tell you the truth, I didn't know what I wanted. We've just made the merge with Keller Williams Realty Mountain Partners of Hendersonville North Carolina. This was our chance to tweak anything and everything about our branding. Picking new business cards was easy, but when it came to the signs, I just couldn't find "the right one".

Holly and the staff at Oakley Signs & Graphics were so patient with me. They'ed send proof after each tweak and this is the end result. On a side note, I love my Keller Williams family! It was so important to me that we join a company that not only had high recognition, but held high ethical standards. I also love that Keller Williams encourages agents to promote themselves, not the franchise.

Before staging this one-level townhome located just 1.3 miles from Historic Downtown Hendersonville felt cold and vacant. Vacant properties scream “desperate to sell!” since the owner has moved out. It’s been a busy weekend with our friends Melissa, her husband Jason and their son Brandon visiting. We’ve missed them so much since they’ve moved.

Jason wanted to be helpful and knew I let my dog Gizmo potty outside without a leash since he is trained to stay with me. Jason opened the door and Gizmo took off! No leash, no collar and no mater how fast Jason ran after Gizmo, Gizmo ran faster.

I get a call at the grocery store from my frantic friend who is out of breath. I assure him Gizmo will come home and it will be ok.

I get home and do what every pet owner would do – call for the dog by name, get in the car and start searching. We live on a very busy road and I prayed Gizmo wouldn’t be found hurt or worse. For three hours we searched.

Later I receive a call from my neighbor who has just spoken to some landscapers that we talked to earlier and they spotted my dog three neighborhoods away. He’s scared and will not let anyone get him.

We found Gizmo! I want to thank every kind neighbor and stranger we met. Also, thank you Jason for searching everywhere, I would have never found Gizmo without your help.

Happy Friday to all who take the time to read this post. We have a nearby pond where we live and I thought it would be a great idea to just take a break. My husband is off today so with a loaf of bread in hand Isobella, Ken, Gizmo and I headed for a walk.

We found a male and female duck approach as we were feeding the fish. I think they have chosen this pond to have a family. How cool is that!

For 10 minutes we sat feeding the ducks and fish and then headed back in for hot chocolate.
