Dear Friends,
I hope that September has started out well for everyone. The boys have had a good start to the new school year, and the soccer season is upon us. We were very happy to find out that their school, Bethlehem Elementary, received Honors School of Excellence for the 2009-2010 school year. We always knew it was a great school, but it was nice to see it recognized. Less than 8% of the schools in North Carolina achieved this distinction last year, so kudos to the students and staff of the school on this great recognition of their hard work.
The real estate market is still mired in a bit of a funk, with foreclosures and homes below $200,000 still making up most of the sales that are happening. I have noticed a few higher end properties go under contract recently. Hopefully that is a glimpse of better days ahead. With low interest rates and well priced homes, I think that the real estate market is primed to improve.
Kathleen, Ashley and I are very thankful to all of our family and friends who have referred business to us. We are truly grateful, and our success truly hinges on word of mouth more than anything else. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions or needs.
Talk to you soon,
Mike
