Indian Trail, NC

Brook Valley is a relatively small community with lovely homes located in Indian Trail NC. The builders for the neighborhood were Lennar and Cambridge Homes.

The neighborhood was developed in the early to mid 2000’s with several ranch and two story single family home designs to choose from.

The homes are of a generous size with living space- typically 2500-3500 heated square feet, most with a two car attached garage. Home prices are usually in the $175,000-$300,000 range.

Brook Valley's amenities include a nice Community Cabana, Swimming Pool, and Playground for its residents.

Brook Valley is located in Indian Trail, Union County. It is an easy commute time of less than thirty minutes to most anything you would ever need in Charlotte-and, for uptown Charlotte, your drive time would be approximately 50 minutes.

As for things you might need on a daily basis, Brook Valley is within ten minutes of major hi-way systems and a couple of new shopping centers with anchor stores of Target and Super Wal-Mart, along with restaurants, banks, grocery stores and the like.

Athletic fields and its neighborhood schools are also within ten minutes!

Union County Public Schools serving Brook Valley home owners are: Shiloh Elementary, Sun Valley Middle School and Sun Valley High School. (There are also plenty of private schools nearby. Schools are subject to change.)

How did the Indian Trail NC real estate market fare in 2009 and how did it compare with 2008?

In 2009, average sales prices in Indian Trail NC were off 9 percent for single family homes and off 20 percent for townhomes. The number of single family homes sold did not change much from 2008, declining only 6%. The number of Indian Trail NC townhomes sold, however, dropped a dramatic 62%. Sellers in both years waited around one hundred days to sell their single family homes and about 120 days to sell their townhomes in both years.

Would you like a Craftsman-style home with shingle accents and a big welcoming front porch? Taylor Glen in Indian Trail NC is a great place to find your perfect home. It is a large neighborhood where you can find ranches and two-story homes, single family detached homes or attached townhomes, new homes or resale home. The heart of Taylor Glen is its community amenities, including a clubhouse with swimming pool, tennis courts, walking trails and a pond plus a large recreation area with playing fields.

Taylor Glenn is located off Wesley Chapel Stouts Road in Indian Trail NC. Shop for groceries, go to your bank, have a coffee at Starbucks or enjoy a number of restaurants at nearby Sun Valley Commons. The Wesley Chapel Town Center is just a couple of miles away with its Target store and other shops. The Sun Valley schools are within a mile of the neighborhood.

Brookhaven in Indian Trail NC—Homes for Sale and Neighborhood Profile

Want to be able to walk your children to their elementary school? If so, consider Brookhaven in Indian Trail NC. Brookhaven is next door to Antioch Elementary School and extends from Antioch Church Road to Chestnut Lane in Union County. This convenient location is between Matthews and Providence Road near the Mecklenburg County-Union County line. Shopping is nearby at Austin Village or Plantation Marketplace where the Siskey YMCA is located.

Brookhaven’s tree-lined streets wind through the property and sidewalks and common areas with pathways provide plenty of space for walking and bicycling. Brookhaven’s private recreation area includes a 7000 square foot clubhouse with meeting, fitness, game, play, media, card, lounge and kitchen facilities. An Aquatics Park has a variety of water features and the neighborhood also has basketball and tennis courts.

Brookhaven has two villages with different price points and features. When complete the neighborhood will total approximately 500 homes. Most of the neighborhood lies within the Town of Indian Trail but a small section of 33 homes, called The Preserve at Brookhaven, lies within the Town of Weddington. Heated area can range from as low as 3000 square feet to over 5000 square feet. Some basement homes are available.

Brandon Oaks in Indian Trail NC—Homes for Sale and Neighborhood Profile

Brandon Oaks in Indian Trail NC is a master planned community of eighteen distinct neighborhoods. Construction began in Brandon Oaks in the mid-1990s and continues today. When complete, Brandon Oaks will have over a thousand homes and will be Indian Trail NC’s largest neighborhood. A central landscaped parkway runs through the community providing access to the various neighborhoods and the community amenities.

Brandon Oaks is located between Old Monroe Road and Wesley Chapel-Stouts Road with three entrances into the neighborhood. A variety of community shopping facilities, including a Harris Teeter grocery store, a Starbucks, a bank, and restaurants, are within walking distance of the neighborhood.

Brandon Oaks has two swim and tennis facilities. The Brandon Oaks Swim and Tennis Club, with a regulation-size pool, a kiddie pool, a basketball court and two tennis courts, is located near a community pond with playground and walking trails. The Brandon Oaks Sports Club has a resort-style pool with 85-foot water slide and wading pool with water fall and water play features. A series of walking trails connects the various neighborhoods to the amenity centers.

Brandon Oaks contains a wide variety of homes, styles, and prices in its various neighborhoods. There are numerous resale homes available as well as new construction. Prices range from the $130,000s to over $400,000. Home styles include single family homes on generous lots as well as patio homes for active adults.
