The Kernersville Chamber Of Commerce starts off its 13^th year of Music At Twilight summer concerts on May 22, 6:30-8:30pm, in the courtyard in front of Town Hall. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a free concert. A dance contest will be held throughout the evening, so there is an opportunity to get up, get moving, and win a gift certificate. There will also be antique cars on display, volleyball, and free snow cones. Come out and enjoy a good time and a great family atmosphere! I slept through the stormy weather last night. There were several tornados that touched down in the Triad area last night and a few home that were destroyed and damaged. Kernersville does not seem to have any damage. Greensboro to the east and clemmons to the west were where the bad weather was.There is a great emergency service in place. It is nice to see a community pull together in times of crisis. It is rare for tornado in the triad area.
