The design phase of Knightdale, NC's new 76+ acre Town owned park is in progress!

Residents and newcomers to the Town of Knightdale have a lot to be excited about as the design and development of 76+ acres of Town owned park is underway! The park will be located off First Avenue in Knightdale, and though the park is still in the early design stage, the permits are scheduled for this Winter and construction will begin Spring 2012.

Ahhhhh... imagine the wonderful relaxation that we'll all be able to enjoy in the new park this time next year.

Let's look at how good the stats looked in September:

• 28% of the real estate activity in Knightdale either Closed (SOLD) or went under contract (pending), compared with 15% new active listings on the market.

• Knightdale had the lowest average days on the market for closed listings at only 85 days.

• The average sales price in Knightdale was 97% of the list price - excellent value and consistent with the 97% sale to list price ratio for Wake County!

The second phase of the Town of Knightdale, NC's Greenway project is underway! Expected construction is Spring 2012 and we're very excited to relay that the design and permits are in progress! This portion of the Greenway construction extends from Hodge Road to Parkside Commons Park in Mango Creek Basin.

Residents and visitors alike will look forward to this new addition to Knightdale, NC! To check out the route of the 2nd phase of the Greenway project, check out the Knightdalenc.gov website.
