Wolf Mountain Estates is a carefully planned residential mountain community located in Western North Carolina. Located in Murphy, NC but oh so close to the GA and the TN state lines this development has preserved the mountain's natural beauty and secluded privacy. Here you'll find rolling pastures, creeks and streams, large rock formations, gentle ridges and of course, magnificent views up to 3,000 feet. You'll only see a few rooftops peeking out from among the ridge top trees, not bulldozed terraces with dozens of look-alike homes. All lots are generously-sized to ensure privacy, ranging from no less than 1 acre and as large as 10+ acres. Most properties are easily accessed from a network of paved roads. In all, the development boasts more than 600 total acres, secluded and protected from over-developing.
Residents of Wolf Mountain are able to relax in the quiet, peaceful surroundings, but are close to modern conveniences and outdoor activities. Just down the road over the Tennessee state line is the Ocoee Whitewater Center, home of the 1996 Olympics. Here you'll enjoy whitewater rafting, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, sightseeing and much more.
Enjoy the Wolf Mountain Clubhouse for family and friends to gather for a game of horseshoes, a stroll down by the pond and a cookout. Wolf Mountain also has a very active Home Owners Association with many get-togethers planned for residents. Be on the lookout for wild turkey and deer that also live among these mountains. From large, elegant homes and cozy cabin retreats to rolling creek front lots and properties with views you won't find anywhere else, Wolf Mountain Estates is an ideal place in which to invest or make your nest!

We've Found The Best Place In Murphy To Live...
Lee and I have been so blessed each morning to wake up to the beautiful views of the NC, GA and TN mountains from our home in Wolf Mountain Estates. Coming from Florida to Murphy in 1997, it still never ceases to amaze me how breathtaking the layer upon layer of mountain ridge views are. What better way to end each day than with a mountain sunset. We truly appreciate the developer of Wolf Mountain in preserving the beauty of a true mountain community and not stripping away most of the trees like some do. We love living in a subdivision, but still want to be "on the mountain." After all, that's why we moved from the packed city of pavement to enjoy the natural beauty of this area. We even get to see wild turkey, deer, hummingbirds and other small wildlife.

If you're ever in the area, please let us know and we'd love to show you around Wolf Mountain and the surrounding areas. We're just minutes fromthe Ocoee Whitewater Center where they had the 1996 Olympics. It's a great place to walk, bike, swim or just hang out and watch the rafters and kayaks go down the river.
