Who doesn't love a good wine? Hmmm...

How about a great cause, good wine and a friendly get together?

"Good Wines for a Great Cause" events will be happening all

summer on a bi-monthly basis on Thursdays from 4-7 pm. We will

donate all funds raised through the $5 tasting fee to an area

non-profit organization. Funds raised this month will be donated

to the Oak Island Beach Preservation Society whose mission is to

see that our beaches are clean, our dunes protected and our

environment respected. The "Be A Beach Lover" program is just

one of the ways the organization works to educate the public on

the importance of protecting our beautiful beaches.

A bit of good advice

Today, I had five BPO's to do on my schedule. Two in Shallotte, one in Holden Beach, on in Boiling Spring Lakes and one in Winnabow. I tried to do the two in Shallotte yesterday, but got to the community to find that it was gated and I had none of the codes to gain my entrance. With a listing appointment 30 miles away, I had to come back to office and try to complete today.

Need more facts when going out to do this work.

Our wonderful owner of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty, gave us an opportunity to go and see Brian Buffini last week He is a most agreeable entertainer and trainer. I believe what he is teaching. Do this easy....not hard. This is what I think is most important for us as realtor agents in the 2011 year.
