Pinehurst Course No. 6 was ranked 95 in the Top 100 Courses in North Carolina. The course opened in 1979, was renovated 2005 and reopened as a championship course. Renovations by Tom Fazio have increased shot values, developed all new putting greens and rebunkered the entire course - making it a strong addition to the championship golf set at Pinehurst. You'll find the terrain different here - rolling hills make for a test from the tee box. The back nine is one the most difficult anywhere. Though new construction inside No. 6 has slowed versus past years, you will still find an inventory of new homes in the community. As of Dec. 9th, 2009, 42 homes have sold within Pinehurst 6, ranging in price from $160k to $505k with an average sale price of $282,006.. During the same period last year, 47 homes sold, ranging from $215k to $650k, with an average sale price of $310.070.
