If you thought Pinehurst was the only spot in Moore County for good golf, think again. Head west a bit on Highway 211 (about 12-13 miles to be exact) and you will be in Seven Lakes, NC. Seven Lakes has three very popular subdivisions: Seven Lakes West, a lake and golf gated community; Seven Lakes North, a gated lake community; and Seven Lakes South, a gated golf community.

Seven Lakes South is the subject of this blog. A bit about the golf course and community features......Residents have the option of joining Seven Lakes Country Club, an 18-hole track designed by Peter Tufts in 1976. In addition to golf privileges, members have access to tennis courts and dining inside its clubhouse. The community is predominantly made up of single family homes, but does have a limited number of townhouses within its gates.

Though Seven Lakes has all the essential stores and services, such as a supermarket, pharmacy, doctors, dentists and a few restaurants, you will need to travel a bit to find more choices.
