What a great time of the year. Christmas parties about every day with friends, family and the office and church. It would be so good to have these delightful occasions spread out over the entire year rather than being bunched up ove a 4 week period of time.

Today has been a wonderful day with the grandchildren. Two of our Grandson were playing Soccer.

Jonah the eight year old was playing on one field as Joshua the 4 year old was playing on the other field.

Have you ever tried to watch two soccer games at the same time.? What great fun. Both were doing well and I just hopped from one game to the next. Jonah is a seasoned player with 3 years of soccer behind him, but Joshua...1st game.

It was all fabulous.

Today was the first day of Soccer for our 8 year old grandson. It is exciting to see these you folks becoming so involved with their sports. There were a total of 8 soccer fields with family and friends cheering their player on. This was such a great day to start out the weekend with.

Great 4th of July 2010 (edit/delete)

We had lots of family from around the US to come and visit and enjoy the forth of July in Southport,North Carolina.

We had family to come from Greensboro, Asheville, Nashville, to come and join us on the front porch.

The parade was great, the bands were great, the food was great. It was great all the way around.

Hope that you will come and join us for the 4th in 2011..
