Are you a Realtor or a service providor of some sort who does not communicate like you should to others? I know that I have guility of this in the past. Have you? Do not be afraid of being honest in here for honesty is very cleansing.

There are a couple of things that I have learned from women and being in business since 1987.

1/ listen to others and care about what the person is saying

I am not sure why there are so many who do not know how to listen to others. Either they have not been taught how to listen or they just do not care about listening to others. Or they want to run you over with their words and what is on their mind or be selfish about them self and not even care about what you are trying to get across. Anyone have this experience?

2/ communicate with that person after listening to them.

we need to be willing as well as able to get our point across quickly and effectively

3/ when some one calls me, I like to call them back asap as well as email them.

why are there so many folks out there who never others back when they get a call. My experiece as of lately has been a carpet cleaner as well as a duct cleaning company. Then, a week later, I get a call that they want to do the job. A little late.

It was announced September 10, 2010 that the Carolina Artisan Group will create 200 jobs in Valdese. The joint venture is a partnership between Art Van Furniture, Michigan’s largest furniture retailer, and Kellex Corporation, a furniture manufacturer in Burke County.

The partnership will continuously design and develop quality custom and semi-custom living room and family room seating. Six styles of living room and family room collections will be available in the Art Van Furniture stores by mid-October. For the launch, all furniture produced in Burke County by the Carolina Artisan Group will be sold exclusively by Art Van Furniture.

Kleen Tech Inc. will build a new process facility in Valdese to accommodate business growth.

The company plans to create 30 jobs and invest $1.17 million during the next three years. The project was made possible in part by a $54,000 grant from the One North Carolina Fund.

Kleen Tech provides textile-cleaning services to hospitality and industrial clients along the East Coast, from Maine to Florida. It does not use solvents typically applied to linens and other fabrics. Kleen Tech’s corporate offices and plant, with 75 employees in nearby Hildebran, will continue to operate but the site there could not accommodate the company’s expansion needs. The expansion will take place at the site of Valdese’s former water treatment plant, which the company plans to “recycle” and refurbish, according to company and local officials.

Kleen Tech will work with the Burke County Employment Security Commission and the Burke County Job Link Career Center for employee needs for the new operation.
