Here are a few basic pointers for taking a better front photo.

A) Time of Day: The best time to take a photo is early morning or late in the evening. I took this photo in late evening and turned on the outdoor lights for added effect.

B) Trash Cans: Remove the trash cans from the photo. Nothing is more pathetic than seeing a trash can in the photo of an expensive property. Take a few moments and remove the trash cans from the shot.

C) Driveway: Remove car(s) from the shot and take the photo from an angle so it shows some green space and the shot is not dominated by a massive concrete driveway. Also, avoid taking the photo directly from the front. Taking the shot from an angle will show depth.

Finally, don't forget to update the photo if the seasons change. This winter we had 2 feet of snow and believe it or not there are still photos on the MLS with homes with snow in the photo.
