Market is Coming Back - Just Look at the Horizen

Well it's here - The real estate market has life. I have 5 closings between now and the second week of July. No one is using the $8,000 stimulus money.

My foreclosure invenory is starting to dwindle, that's a good thing. However, the pipeline continues to fill, but I believe the surge in REO's now signals increased real estate activity.

Why? I am experiencing increased showing activity as properties come online. My properties are drawing purchase inquiries from foreclosure. com before I can put them on the market.

I am not complaining!

Illinois may be a barometer because I don't hear a bustle of activity from other market sectors. AH! I've got it - people have acquired the knowledge that the Midwest has access to an unlimited surce of water, or Conan O'Brian drove through here on his trek to the west cost.
