Only builders with this strong commitment to their customers can become members of the Bonded Builders Home Warranty Association.
Only builders who can pass the stringent inspection of Bonded Builders' Underwriting can become part of the Bonded Builders Home Warranty Association. Adams Homes has surpassed every scrutiny... and then some.

Coverage
During the first year of the warranty period, your new home will be free from:
Defects in materials and workmanship, defined in performance standards attached to your warranty, except defects in appliances, fixtures and equipment which are not covered by the warranty.
Defects in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems as defined in the performance standards including the wiring piping and ductwork portions of the systems.
During the second year of the warranty period, your new home will be free from:

Major Structural Defects
The warranty also provides for major coverage for Major Structural Defects, which occur during the ten-year term of the warranty. Subject to the limits provided by the Warranty, BBHWA will repair or replace a covered major structural defect or pay the home buyer the reasonable actual cost of repair or replacement. Repair of the major structural defect is limited to:
The repair of damage to the load bearing portions of the covered home, which is necessary to restore its load bearing ability.
The repair of damage to the load bearing portions of the covered home, which make the home unsafe, unsanitary, or otherwise unliveable.
BBHA is responsible to you, the Homeowner, for total liability of all Major Structural Defects arising during the ten-year term of coverage. Liability is limited to the amount of coverage not to exceed the original purchase price. Repair and/or replacement do not extend to the Warranty Term.
A “Major Structural Defect” is actual physical damage to load bearing portions of the home. The actual physical damage must affect the load bearing function to the extent that the home becomes unsafe, unsanitary or otherwise uninhabitable and the repair will be limited to ensure only that the covered home is restored to a condition approximating the condition just prior to the defect, not to a "like new" condition.

I moved down to Florida from Tennessee in 2003. Had been a renter in the St. Petersburg area every since. Married my wife in 2006 and after a couple of years renting together we decided to look around for houses. We first thought we should look for homes all ready built but when a friend told us about Adams Homes we decided to go take a look. From the first time we saw Jan Lucas we knew we were getting an Adams homes. She was very warm, caring, and honest. Where other home builders would try to knock and discredit other builders. Jan said nothing negative about the other builders. She just continued to explain the Adams home products. Being first time home buyers could have been one of the worst times of our lives but Jan assisted us through the whole process and it was almost too easy. I can remember on the day we signed the papers, it was late and storming but Jan was still there in the office waiting for us and she guided us through. Our Adams home has been a blessing. Our friends who have bought homes prior to us can't get over how much stuff we get included with the price and how we only had to upgrade 2 things. And when they come over and see how much space we got and the price we paid for it, their jaws drop. We are so glad we decided to go with Adams and we are so lucky to have met Jan in the process. Oh my goodness, where do I even start.... Jan Lucas is like a one-stop realestate shop - She goes above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable throughout the entire transaction and her follow up is second to none. I was very impressed by the level of professionalism and just common courteousy and work ethic she portrays continually and consistently. If I had questions she was there, if I had a problem she was there, if I was confused or didnt understand something she was there, and at times when there may have been confusion (on my part) with the Mortgage Broker or Title Company - she was still there. Jan is very knowledgeable, very dependable, very courteous, and extremely patient. She took me step by step through the process and kept me informed from the beginning to the end. Her customer service is absoulutely amazing and I must say quite refreshing. Its good to know that there are still people out there who go above and beyond the norm of the actual job description in order to satisfy the customer or client.
