Daytona and all of Volusia County is gearing up for Bike Week. The sunshine will hook you and all of a sudden you are considering a vacation home instead of the high cost of hotels. With my father being in the Air Force for 26 year brought about my birth in Honaloulou, Hawaii. Don't have to many questions. I was only 5 weeks old when we flew back to the mainland. To keep it simple I was brought up basically in Middle Tennessee. Being the only girl of six children needless to say has it challenges. Yes, I climbed trees with the frilly dress and patten leather shoes on. I was granted grace as the years went on.

Three of the greatest blessings in life is my husband, Jim, my two sons, Lonnie and Lance, and my 3 grandchildren, Trey-3 1/2 years, Aubrey Shea-18 months, and Madison-11 months. Jim is a native of DeLand and works for Florida Department of Transportation. Lonnie and Lance returned to Tennessee once spreading their wings and leaving home. The distance it tough but Love has no boundaries. We try to make the opportunity to visit three to four times per year. Jim and I met at DeLand Airport and married in 1999. I am a member of Calvary Full Gospel Church and the doors are always open without discrimination of any kind. If you are ever in town consider this a personal invitation.

What brought me to DeLand? Sunshine makes me happy and I perfered the small town atmosphere. I am a small town kind of girl. DeLand was the puzzle piece I was looking for. West Volusia offers real Florida natural setting and plenty to keep you busy. The people are the best. We like to laugh, share, hug and help. What more could you ask for.
