What Does It All Mean

What does it all mean?

What does It All Mean?

This is a question I have asked myself many times in many ways, and under many circumstances. This is a question that can be applied to almost everything, from the gracious beauty of Mother Nature to the close friendships developed in early childhood, to everlasting relationships of friends in the teen years onto adulthood.

What does it all mean can be applied to the relationships of husband and wife, mother and child, father and child, spiritual relationships and business relationships. From neighborhood to neighborhood, business place to business place, client to client, business deal to business deal. From the highest of courts in the land to the lowest courts in the land, from the cities to the country and beyond, from ocean to ocean and in-between.

What does it all mean?

What Does It All Mean

It means something different to everyone and that the answers are found within. It means to me the small things that make me joyous and make me smile. It means that we are being watched over and cared for even when our lives may seem bleak or the future is somewhere out there in the cloud of the unknown and we cannot find what we think we are looking for.

What does it all mean when fear takes over and we become stuck in our own belief system that no longer works in the way we need it to. It means doing our best to reach far beyond our outside shells and digging deep into our souls memory for the answers that will bring us knowledge, peace, light, joy, forgiveness and most of all love.

It is believing in ourselves and accepting who we are and where we might be at this time in our lives, knowing that there is more if we will only stop to listen and hear what we already know inside of ourselves. It means handing all of the fears, doubts, questions and confusion over to a higher power so we may move on in a clear way. To learn what trust really means, and

It means to trust and believe in yourself.

What does it all mean ? It means you have everything you need inside of yourself to succeed in life and much much more. That is what it means to me.

SPRING TURNED TO SUMMER IN WILSONVILLE

SPRING TURNED INTO SUMMER IN WILSONVILLE

Spring finally turned into Summer in the City Wilsonville and the change has been a gradual one this year. My garden has had a slow start at least two to three weeks behind its normal schedule. Yet who knows what normal really is, it frequently changes its mind.

This Spring Daffodils came and went, tulips the same, the Peonies were so beautiful and lasted for such a short time,
Roses Blooming and sending out their sweet perfumes and then planting time for any annuals I might add for the summer time.

My tomatoes are growing like mad and beginning to bloom for a Summer harvest, the potatoes we planted are getting larger and my herbs are finally showing life.

Spring into Summer in Wilsonville The flower baskets I started from scratch are getting bigger and the blooms are beautiful. Some baskets are lagging behind for some unknown reason and I am waiting for them to catch up.

Honeysuckle is sweet with fragrance and the hummingbirds are coming around.

The yellow canaries are here along with the grosbeak and nuthatch, eating away and singing their best songs for all to hear. Early mornings we listen to the Doves and their calls, a great way to begin the day, sipping strong coffee, smelling the fresh air and listening to the music of the birds. A great way to start my day.

Spring has finally turned to Summer in Wilsonville

TUALATIN COMMONS MINATURE BOAT RACES ~ We just Happened Upon on Our Date Day

MINiATURE BOAT RACES ~ TUALATIN COMMONS ~

TUALATIN, OREGON

What we happened upon on our Saturday Date Day

Yesterday, Saturday, my husband and I had a date day of poking around the area to see what sort of trouble we could get into.

We originally wanted to go to the Festival of Balloons in Tigard,  Hot Air Balloon Races, we just did not get there early enough. When we did arrive, it was so crowded that we decided to find another adventure as the races were over for the day.

So off to find another adventure when we came upon the Miniature Boat Races in Tualatin at the Commons, a man made shallow lake in the middle of the City of Tualatin.

Now, I have been to Seattle's Seafair and watched the hydroplane boats racing, where speed is like a mach 1 and it is really a big deal to so many fans. Those boats run just under 3,000 horsepower, pretty cool.

These miniature boats look like the hydroplane boats but are very small of course in comparison, and are remote controlled. The people who own them are very serious indeed. They can go really fast and it was fun to watch.

This is my very first video ever, and I do not have a video camera, but I do have my DroidX and the following is what it produced. Not perfect by any stretch, not too bad for a first attempt and not exactly the right equipment. Hope you find it interesting. It was for us.

Just a side trip for a date day that ended up at the Tualatin Commons Miniature Boat Races
