About Us:

Charles K. Brown and myself head up the Keller Williams Commercial Real Estate Team here in Asheville. Yes, I still have a big hand in residential real estate in the Asheville area. I actually feel that by being a commercial broker, it makes me more diligent in every aspect of real estate, including residential and especially investment properties. Being a real estate investor myself, I understand things like CAP rates and ROI from the buyer and seller's point of view.

My partner, Chuck and I are VERY excited because Keller Williams (yesterday as a matter of fact) rolled out the national KW Commercial division. Keller Williams, with an 80,000+ agent count has taken the country by storm in residential real estate and is finally stepping it up with the same great model and creating a commercial division spearheaded by Buddy Norman, formally of the Dallas-based, Staubach Company. Between my partner and I, we have had success in almost every area of real estate. Chuck has done developments in FL, both residential and commercial and has had great success in commercial real estate here in Western Carolina for the past 27 years.

From selling time share in the mid 1980's to residential and now to commercial, I have some miles behind me. For the past few years, I have found myself REALLY loving "the numbers". I have a partner/mentor in commercial real estate with endless experience. I constantly study our local market, residential and commercial, as I enjoy tracking the trends and how they relate.

Being an active investor myself, I have gravitated to income producing properties as my personal favorite. I love the analysis, I love the leverage and I love finding the twists and turns that make them work. I read constantly and have found a whole new love for learning. That's why I love this business. Every single day, I learn something and most days, MANY things.

Scott - Garry and I just wanted to say thanks again for all you have done for us in the past, oh how many, months!! Shopping for a home is exhilarating, fun, and exhausting but the process of financing proved to be even more intense - but it could never have been done had we not had the team of "yourself" and all the others involved in this process. It was truly amazing to see the time spent in this effort and the early and late hours you spent dotting all the i's and crossing all the t's because the sellers and underwriters wanted to clean the contract up at the last minute. How many last minutes did we actually have? I lost count!! :>)

I hope all home and property sales are not this intense for you - maybe it was because we purchased a foreclosure - don't really know - but we certainly appreciate you and all you've done for us.

Topping it all off was the lovely and very generous spa gift (that we both need so badly right now because we have sore muscles where we did not even know we had) that you gave us after we closed. How could you have know so precisely exactly what we would need?

We appreciate your thoughtfulness, your encouraging words, your very positive attitude, and "I" appreciate you letting me vent when I needed to.

Garry, believe it or not, is considering buying a townhouse near town - to rent. Geez - give me a rest first please!! :>) He's CRAZY!
