I started my real estate career in 1980. I have since worked in several markets including Denver, Colorado.

One thing you can count on in real estate is CHANGE! We've seen the market change substantially in the 10 years---what goes up (too fast!) must come down. It is definitely a buyer's market and a great time to purchase a home or investment property in Idaho. In many cases prices have rolled back 10 years in the Treasure Valley (Boise, Meridian,Nampa). As of today (May 2011) we are seeing some change in activity with multiple offers on bank owned, shortsales going contingent quickly (the good ones!). New home construction is increasing at great prices. The current inventory is shrinking at an optimistic rate.
