Eagle Mountain experienced one of the larger increases in the county and sold 26 more homes than what sold during the second quarter of 2008. Consequently, both median and average sold price took a big drop from the 200's to the 100's. Active Eagle Mountain Real Estate listings are numbered at 288 with 7 months of inventory.

Real Estate in American Fork was actually one of several to have a small increase in number of homes sold. Even though only three more homes sold, it was still an improvement. On the other hand, prices continued to decline with median sold price down 6.5% and average sold price down 16.2%. American Fork Real Estate inventory is currently at 9.3 months.

Real Estate in West Valley had the second largest decrease in number of homes sold. 61 less homes were sold, decreasing 24.8%. Median sold price decreased from $195,000 to $177,000 and average sold price decrased about $20,500 to $180,100. Median priced active houses in West Valley City are around $190,000 and average homes are around $201,000.

West Jordan Real Estate didn't have the largest percentage decrease in the valley but it did have one of the biggest decreases in number of homes sold. 60 less homes were sold, dropping 18.5%. Average sold price declined 8.6% and median sold price declined 9.8%. West Jordan has the second highest number of homes listed on the market with 640.

Number of homes in Taylorsville sold decreased 15%. Sold price decreased 4% on average and 9% on median. There are about 100 more homes listed than what were sold so inventory is close to 7 months. Prices for Taylorsville homes are currently listed in the lower 200's.
