South Jordan had one of the larger increases in number of homes sold, increasing 13.33%. Prices, on the other hand, followed the decreasing trend. Both median and average sold price went from the upper 300's to the lower 300's, decreasing 19-20%. Homes in South Jordan are still a little more expensive than homes in most other cities but, like mentioned above, sales increased so the area is still attracting buyers.

Real Estate in Sandy saw 3% more homes sold. Median sold prices were lowered 8.35% to the mid 200's and average sold prices were lowered 13.41% to the lower 300's. Current prices of Sandy homes are 20-30% higher than sold price and inventory is at 7.3 months.

Not surprisingly, Salt Lake City sold more homes than any other city in the valley but still decreased 10%. Sold prices of Salt Lake homes also decreased slightly more than the county average. Median sold price slipped $16,000 and average sold price decreased about $28,000. Active median listings are about $31,000 higher and active average prices are about $123,000 more than the sold price.

Numbers for Riverton Real Estate were similar to the county average. 9 less homes sold, median price decreased 5.23%, and price decreased 11.52% on average. Inventory for Riverton homes is 7.29 months and there are 243 homes listed.

Murray Real Estate decreased 30% and sold 51 homes last quarter. Median price decreased close to $10,000 and average price decreased about $15,000. There are about 144 Murray homes for sale and median price is 14% more than sold price last quarter.
