I thought as you start to read my blog, that perhaps you should know more about me!
I am a REALTOR IN INDY. I have many years of experience in the real estate industry, with a Title Background, and Lending Background, along with real estate, and partnering with a team that not only sells REAL ESTATE, but also buys REAL ESTATE and deals with investing, Property Management & rentals.
I work for a REAL ESTATE COMPANY, REALTY WORLD-Harbert Company, Inc. for a reason. I have known the owner for many, many years. He is a detail oriented, hard working person, who has evolved his small office into something ahead of the times with his goals. We deal with Land Acquisition, New Construction, Rentals/Leasing/Property Management in the Indy/Greenwood area, as well as Bank Owned Properties, SHORT SALES, Commercial Property Sales and Leases, and Residential Re-Sale. I am proud to say that my team is experienced in all of these facets of REAL ESTATE.
On a personal note, I love soccer! I have been coaching soccer for about 4 years now, and played in high school and after high school on a competitive & fun league. One of my team members also coaches soccer, volunteering with me, so we are a team on and off the field, and in and out of work. I have a young son, who keeps me on my toes, which makes my dad laugh at how I am getting paid back for being such a sass with him. I love to read. It is so enlightening to come across a perspective that makes you appreciate life or look at it from a different perspective.
Speaking of perspective-
As I watch what is going in with the Real Estate Market today, it saddens me. I realize some burden/responsibility falls on the consumer's shoulder if they have maxed out their credit, not budgeted properly, etc., but also, being put into a poor quality home, while paying an inflated amount for that poor quality home, and being put into a loan that is not feasible once the taxes are assessed, or the buydown falls off, or the adjustable rate kicks in, OR all of the above is discouraging for all of those who are honest in the industry.
On a positive note for those of us in Indiana, we are among one of the most affordable areas housing wise in the country for Real Estate in INDY!
