I don't know about you real estate agents, but this time of year gets sooo slow! Right now I think I have less than 10 scheduled inspections for this week and next.

I sure hope things pick up after Thanksgiving, and I hope all of you have a very happy one!

Idea on retaining old customers

I have this idea that when I do an inspection to upload the photo and contact info of my client's agent. That way, when they decide to sell, they always return for their report and will see their real estate agent also. Agents then get put in the forefront of the client's mind again.

What do ya think?

Back in the saddle again

Well, it has been some time, but I am now back in the home inspection game!

My health has greatly improved thanks to our Lord, and I now can perform home inspections... yaaaay!!

It did take some surgery to get a few things corrected and for me to get on track not to mention some healing time, but so far I am doing well.

More to follow...

Refocusing

As most of you know, my pest control operations is family owned, that is, my father Art and I own this. Since my father's health has not been the best lately, I have decided to refocus my attention to the pest control operation and cease operations as a home inspector.

This decision was not difficult as our pest control side has blossomed to take up almost all of my time, and right now I have been informed that Vaughn Pest Control holds steady as the leader in WDIR's in this area. That does not surprise me since I am the one that does them all!

So, my loyal realtors and you that soon will be using us, please note the new contact phone number 937.266.2793

Thanks so much for your past and future support.

Are you calling it a recession?

I can't. Since the pain in my neck has subsided for the most part we have been absolutely hopping. Those of you in the Dayton / Beavercreek area who know me probably recognize me as a pest control company. Yes, I am that too and to the degree that I haven't had time to do home inspections.

What's changed Aaron? Well, I'll tell you - word has gotten around that WDIs are my specialty and expertise. I suppose that is true since I have other home inspectors calling me on the phone for advice. And yes, I give them the right advice.

So what does that mean now? I really don't know, but I can tell you with all the WDI inspections I have it is difficult to fit in home inspections. That's the blessing - the down side is my studies have had to take a back seat lately. Maybe come winter things will slow down.

Until next time...
