So Reel Productions TV has been quite busy over the past several months traveling and shooting video across the country for real estate professionals. I thought it was time for an update:

1.) Reel Productions TV is heading back to world of teaching by popular demand. Starting, November 9th and 10th, Reel Productions TV will hold a 6 hour credited course in Buckhead, Atlanta through the American Real Estate University. The first day, agents will earn their Media Marketing Designation...the second day, they will get a video business card as part of the class! This is our compliments as a way to get your started in the right direction for marketing yourself in today's market. More details to come shortly!

2.) Reel Productions TV.com is now completely automated for agents and business owners to order their videos online! Check out our new, user friendly site and keep checking back as we continue to revamp our site to make your job easier in marketing your business and your properties. As always, we welcome your feedback and suggestions!

3.) The Video Connector has quickly become a very popular listing tool for agents across the country! If you haven't checked out this creative tool to make you stand out from the competition and make your job easier, please do so today.

I ask this question after receiving hundreds of business cards from attending an event in Atlanta GA called Industry Day. As I was going through my pile of cards to follow up, I realized I couldn't get in touch with close to one third of the people who ASKED to be contacted! Why? Their business card either had no e-mail address, no website or was in another language...I kid you not.

Bottom line, business cards are meant to make a connection, to allow others to know a small piece of information about you and your business to ultimately make a relationship and hopefully, a sale somewhere down the road. If your new contact has no idea how to get in touch with you, you have just closed all roads to making a potential business relationship in any form or fashion.

If you're on Active Rain, you know the power of networking. Don't think that power doesn't exist outside the internet. Good old fashion hand shaking and card exchanging may be "old school" but it works :-)

If you've never been on A Greater Town, it's a free, global website where you can post your services. Not sure how many consumers use the site but it appears to have a large following from small businesses.

At any rate, it's free exposure to post your listings, your profile, your business, etc. So why not?

The Second Annual Industry Day is set for this Friday, September 18th from 9AM to 4PM at the Decatur, Georgia Holiday Inn. The event is expected to have 400 agents on hand and more than 20 vendors will be showcasing their products and services all in one room.

Reel Productions TV will be one of those vendors on hand displaying our video services and unveiling our newest product, The Seller’s Video Connector.

We will also be shooting the event as well for host, Cathy McDaniel, 2008 Educator of the Year of American Real Estate University.

Speakers include Fannie Mae, Foreclosure.com, Titanium Solutions and more.

The goal of 2009 Industry Day is to provide trusted resources and guidance regarding loss mitigation, short sales and REOs.
