This time, every year, we like to remind our friends in the Baltimore, Harford County, Cecil County areas about CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING, THE SILENT
KILLER. But, if you live in the Southern States, you too should be concerned about Carbon Monoxide Poisoning.
In Florida, an elderly couple left their car running in the garage and never woke up the next morning due to Carbon
Monoxide seeping into their home. People have died from the Carbon Monoxide of electric generators during hurricanes. And,
if you have a fossil fuel appliance, you run the same risk as people in the Northern States.
I spoke with my Heating and Air Conditioning Contractor here in Maryland, one of his biggest concerns as winter approached is Carbon Monoxide Poisoning.
Carbon Monoxide, the number one cause of death by poisoning, is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas. This is why
Carbon Monoxide Poisoning is known as "The Silent Killer". This has been a problem with Homes in the Baltimore Area.
Carbon Monoxide Poisoning can occur when gases from a faulty furnace or water heater back up into your home. Every year
people die from Carbon Monoxide Poisoning.
A sign of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning is constant headaches, especially when you are home. If more than one member of your
family has headaches, then I recommend you call a heating contractor immediately to check your system. And, it goes
without saying, see a doctor! Carbon Monoxide can remain in your brain and body even after the source is removed.
The best way to protect against Carbon Monoxide Poisoning is to install a Carbon Monoxide Detector. They are not expensive and
it can save your life. You can pick one up at any home improvement store.
Finally, if you think your friends and other family members can benefit from this information, please forward this email to them......
It could save a life!

Start your Home Search NOW for homes in Baltimore, Harford County, Cecil County and Surrounding Areas...the Tax Credit Has been extended for First Time Home Buyers and $6,500 for Primary Home Buyers!!.....Opps!...did I speak too soon?
Well, it's ALMOST done. There is still some negotiating to do. It appears there are several things still needing to be ironed out. One thing is that this Tax Credit can be reduced each quarter by $2,000 until the money runs out. This means that once this is passed...DON'T WAIT to search for your home and get qualified! Also, the amount is still up in the air. Some sources have reported that the Senate compromise would cut the tax credit to 10 percent of the sale price, with a $7,290 cap. It would also make the credit available for homes under sales agreement by April 30th. 2010 an additional 60 days to settle.
