Owning a home and living on the coast is a dream come true for me. Growing up in Gold Beach I always wanted to have a home of my own with a good view of our amazing coastline. I took this picture a few months ago from my home in Hunter Creek on Brooks Road which overlooks both Hunter Creek and the Ocean. I call this my sleeping tiki-man rock. Southern Oregon has a very mild climate making this a wild flower paradise. We are located in Sunset Garden Magazine's climate zone 17. I like to say the weather is like "Spring and Fall all year" not too hot and not too cold, it's just right.
