Spreading a little bit of Christmas joy - Please donate a book to the Children at the Hospital

Dear friends,

As some of you know, I work as an Aqua Aerobics instructor in the Pax River base. One of my student's sons has cancer in his left eye. His name is Greg, he is 9 years old. Greg has received 12 treatments for a non-cancerous, glioma tumor attached to the optic nerve of the left eye. Because it is attached to the optic nerve, it is inoperable (at this point). Therefore, he receives chemo like many of the cancer patients.

Greg had a great idea to give back by donating new books to the children at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. New books, for safety reasons, appropriate for children from infant through age 16. The new books will be given as Christmas gifts to individual children. If you have used books in good condition, those will be donated to the pediatric unit as a whole. Please bring your books to Century 21 New Millennium California and I'll bring them to Holy Face Church where they are being collected.

Thank you in advance for your support in donating a new book for these children and supporting such a great cause, spreading a little bit of Christmas joy to those who are very sick,

Warmly,

Gabriela

“Thank You for Keeping Us Safe At Home” - Leonardtown Square Veterans Day Parade

"Thank You for Keeping Us Safe At Home" - Leonardtown Square Veterans Day Parade

Unfortunately the weather didn't help for the Veterans Day Parade in Leonardtown Square last week, but the important is the message, that we are thankful and took time to honor all who have answered the call to military service.

Our float is very nice and can be seen on Century 21 New Millennium parking lot, or Route 235 (Three Notch Rd), in front of Lowe's.

Let's wish also for a world without war, a peaceful place for our kids and my personal wish is that we celebrate only the Veterans Day, only for the retired military people and that we don't have to send our young soldiers overseas anymore, because the world will be a wonderful place without war and conflicts... (Am I dreaming? Lol I think so... religion and power (money), in my opinion, make people fight. Whatever...I'm doing my part to make my world better, are you? Have a wonderful day!

Thanksgiving menu – “Manjar de coco” or coconut pudim

Our Broker Thanksgiving Lunch was great! In the picture below on the right is Margaret C. Taylor (http://www.linkedin.com/in/margaretctaylor ), our broker Mary Lynn Stone and me.

century 21 new millennium thanksgiving_by Gabriela Agostinelli

Today is the Thanksgiving Luncheon in my office in California MD. I'm sure it will be great, good people, good food, and the most important, the spirit of Thanksgiving is all about showing gratitude for your good fortune and giving to those who are less fortunate and be thankful for what you have. I made a Brazilian recipe, my grandmother recipe for parties in family, the coconut pudim or Manjar de Coco.

1 can of coconut milk 1 can of milk (use the can from the coconut milk to measure the milk)

6 tablespoons of sugar

3 tablespoons of corn starch

3 tablespoons of coconut flakes

Preparation:

1. Put all the ingredients in a pan and mix well.

2. Let the mixture cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring it constantly until the mixture loosens from the bottom of the pan and it is thick like cream.

3. Put the cream in a pudding mold (previously rinsed with cold water) and allow it to cool down.

4. Put the pudding in the fridge and remove it from the mold when it is really cold.
