The Mobile Recreation Vehicle rolls out to five different locations Monday through Friday including: the Rancho Monte Vista Mobile Home Park, Hunters Hill Park, Crossroads Park, Chino Hills Christian Fellowship, and Alterra Park. A total of 160 children participated in the first week. Children were able to play outdoor games, play on carom boards, play board games, make arts and crafts projects, learn about the food pyramid, and make food crafts. Mobile Recreation is a new program that features a 25-foot customized vehicle filled with games, crafts, homework helper supplies, books, sports equipment, DVDs, and Wii games. It is a free drop-in program for children ages 5-13. Participants may come and go freely, but they must sign in and out and have a signed emergency card on file.
