CHINO HILLS CITIZENS ACADEMY - SEPTEMBER 9th

The Neighborhood Services Divisions is pleased to announce the fall session of the

Chino Hills Citizens Academy. The Academy provides an opportunity for residents to learn

about City functions and operations. The Academy offers a well-rounded overview of

municipal government and the services, tools, and resources that are available to all

residents. The Citizens Academy consists of four two-hour training sessions on Wednesday

nights at 7:00 p.m. Classes are held in the City Hall Community Room, 14000 City Center

FALL FLICKS AT THE SHOPPES - BEGINNING SEPTEMBER11th

The City of Chino Hills, in collaboration with The Shoppes at Chino Hills, will present

family and friends with a series of fun flicks under the stars. Bring your blankets and lounge

chairs! Movies will begin at dusk, approximately 7:45 p.m. Movies will take place at The

Shoppes in Chino Hills, at 13920 City Center Drive. All ages are welcome and admission is

MOTHER & SON DATE NIGHT - "50's SOCK HOP" - SEPTEMBER 12th

Get ready to Rock n' Roll! Time to swirl those hips, grease back that hair, and

celebrate the decade that changed us all. There will be dinner, dancing, a photo booth, and

other great fun activities. Costumes are encouraged but optional. Pre-registration is required

by September 2nd and space is limited. The 50's Sock Hop will take place at the McCoy

Equestrian & Recreation Center at 14280 Peyton Drive on Saturday, September 12th from

5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Children ages 3 to 11 years old are welcome with a fee of $20 per

LIL' COWPOKE FOR A DAY - SEPTEMBER 19

Kids from 4 to 9 years old can spend a "rip roaring good time" at the ranch, Saturday

September 19th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.! Lil' Cowpoke for a Day allows children to

experience the wonderful world of cowboys. Children will take a pony ride along the exciting

horse trail at the McCoy Equestrian Center, decorate their very own neckerchief, make a

craft, and enjoy a tasty lunch. The McCoy Equestrian Center is located at 14280 Peyton
