The City of Chino Hills STARS program is in its fourth year. STARS stands for "Supplies to Assist "R" Students." There are children in Chino Hills who are unable to afford basic school supplies and backpacks for the 2009/2010 school year. The City of Chino Hills is accepting donations of backpacks and school supplies to benefit boys and girls in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Please call (909) 364-2704 for complete program details and to find out what supplies are still needed. Supply lists are available at City Hall, 14000 City Center Drive. CHINO HILLS TINY TOT REGISTRATION - AUGUST 8th
Fall registration for the popular Chino Hills Tiny Tots Program will be held on
Saturday, August 8th. The Tiny Tots program teaches children ages 3 to 5 academic and
socialization skills. They participate in a variety of activities including games, craft
projects, and supervised free time. Children must be potty trained and a birth certificate
must be presented at registration. Chino Hills residents receive priority and may
participate in a lotto drawing from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. at the Founders Recreation Center,
2000 Founders Drive. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the person who drew
number one. If space is available, non-Chino Hills residents may register the week of
August 24th.
The Tiny Tots program is offered at two locations, the Mystic Canyon Community
Building, 6424 Mystic Canyon; and Founders Recreation Center, 2000 Founders Drive.
The fall session begins August 31st and continues through October 9th. Level I is for kids
who will be three years old by September 2, 2009. Level I meets on Tuesdays and

Two - Chino Hills Tiny Tot Registration - August 8th
Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The cost is $79.
Level II is for kids who will be age four by December 2, 2009 and are eligible to start
kindergarten in the fall of 2010. Level II meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from
9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The cost is $89. Please refer to
