Please join us as we start the fun of planning the 2008 version of Music on Main. More great food, live music, entertainment and just plain fun are in store for this annual favorite event.

Trout Unlimited's Kanooka Chapter • First Mondays

7:00pm - 8:00pm. Chapter covers Gwinnett, DeKalb,

Walton, and Newton counties and is a member of the

national Trout Unlimited organization with more than

150,000 volunteers organized into 400 chapters from

Maine to Georgia to Alaska. The Kanooka Chapter with

the Georgia Council of Trout Unlimited is devoted to

conserving, protecting, and restoring Georgia's trout fisheries

through youth education, stream improvement/

watershed protection, and membership participation.

Classes are designed for everyone from beginner to expert.

Participants are required to bring pictures for discussion

for the first class. Photographic instruction and

critique will be provided to enable participants to expand

and improve technique for the second class, which will

entail improved photographs and exhibit preparations.

Photos for the exhibit should be 4"x6" to 8"x10" and

need not be professionally printed.

Here are 10 Easy Steps to Recycling at Home, a great way to save water, conserve energy, save taxpayers money and save precious landfill space.

1. Call your garbage company.

2. Request a recycling bin for curbside pickup.

3. Remove lids from containers (bottles, cans, jars and jugs).

4. Empty liquids from containers.

5. Put empty containers in your recycling bin.

6. Remove newspaper from plastic bags.

7. Store newspapers in paper grocery bags.

8. When paper bag is full, place it on top of full recycling bin.

9. Set bin out at the curb on garbage day.

10. Bring bin back inside and start over again! In Gwinnett County, all residential waste haulers are required to pick up the following recyclables with your curbside garbage service:

• Plastic soda, water, juice, detergent & milk bottles

· Aluminum cans

· Steel cans
